CADEM’s Region 10 Priorities & Black History Month Tribute
Focus of DWCCV’s Brunch Meeting: Saturday, February 28

a tribute to Black History Month will highlight the program during
DWCCV’s in-person brunch meeting

Priorities & Strategies for Region 10

District 10 Regional Director Kipp Mueller will discuss CADEM’s priorities and strategies now that the 2022 midterms are behind us.

Kipp’s Regional 10 includes Assembly Districts 38 (Steve Bennett) and 42 (Jacqui Irwin). In addition to leading Region 10, he is running for State Senate District 23 in 2024. Contact Kipp by clicking HERE.

A workers’ and civil rights attorney, he represents workers in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits, including many employees and union members against large corporations. Kipp also is a pro bono asylum attorney, representing asylum seekers who are currently in ICE detention in Adelanto. As a legal advisor for the NAACP, Kipp also serves on the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Access To Justice Committee. His efforts have included fighting to bring more free legal services to those in need.

California Lutheran University’s Dr. Regina D. Biddings-Muro will lead a tribute to Black History Month.

Vice President for University Advancement since 2018, Dr. Biddings-Muro leads a team of professionals who seek to expand philanthropic support among the University’s alumni, donors, staff, faculty, students, and friends. Prior to her appointment at Cal Lutheran, Dr. Biddings-Muro was Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement at Purdue University Northwest in Indiana. In addition to fundraising, Dr. Biddings-Muro’s higher education experience includes leadership in alumni affairs, community relations, legislative affairs, communications & marketing, and strategic university events.

Dr. Biddings-Muro worked for more than 20 years in the steel, natural gas, and electric utility industries. Her first career, while an undergraduate, was in broadcast journalism as a news anchor, reporter, and talk show host. She has a passion for organizations that focus on racial and social justice and the elimination of suffering.

Regina earned her doctoral degree in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University in Illinois. She also holds a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism/mass communication, both from Purdue University.
